Origin 9.0 – Login Issues

Problem

I’ve downloaded the new Origin 9.0 today and now I can’t login. All I get is the following error message:

 You Must Be Online When Logging In For The First Time

Cause

  • There’s a low level problem going on. EA is working on it.
  • You’re using a proxy that conflicts
  • …

Solution

  • Wait till it’s fixed and if possible, don’t upgrade atm.
  • Remove all Proxys from your IE
  • Make sure, your Antivirus Software/Firewall isn’t blocking the connection
  • Disable virtual adapters
