There are many such downloads in the Exchange which you can download if you download a Sim or a household. If you uninstall such a download, babies that were wearing the outfit become invisible. Delete Cache files

Introduction To be able to load faster, the games stores data in so called cache files. The game checks on startup if those files are available and if so, they are loaded. If they are not available, they are created. Over time these files accumulate out-of-date data (especially if you use custom content and mods) and because of this, it’s best to delete them from time to time (just as you delete your browsers cache from time to time) Which files are those ? the files can be found in your [user data directory] and are called CasPartCache.package: CAS parts that…

    Delphy’s Custard

Introduction CleanInstaller (aka Custard) by Delphy (MTS) can help you analyze your Sims3Packs and get rid of any extra stuff that comes with it. If you want to change the Sims3Packs in any way, I recommend working on a copy of it, so that you can try a second time, if something goes wrong. Custard can only analyze one Sims3Pack at the time and only the ones that are NOT installed. Not all errors are shown by Custard as error, which makes it important to know, what you are looking for.

Identification in Custard Custard shows such images as Corrupt (not a DBPF). Solution Faulty thumbnails are not a problem if you install your Sim but please, don’t upload those. The Exchange doesn’t like them too much. Further Reading Exchange – All files corrupt

    Missing TXTC (blue lots)

Problem Because of an error in one of the tools to make custom objects, some of them are faulty causing the Blue Lot Issue. Blue lots have been getting scarcer but I do think that those items can crash your game now. Originally only package files were affected by this problem but some people thought it would be great idea to just convert them into Sims3Packs, assuming that would solve the problem. Well, it didn’t. What it did do is that now some of this files are floating around as Sims3Packs. Most of the original faulty package files are long…
