Problem There cars and bikes in front of lots that don’t move The ocean is full of unused boats There’s a stuck car in my house Inactive Sims collect cars in their inventories All parking lots are filled with abandoned cars. Store Lots Missing ingame
Problem l’ve installed a lot from the Sims 3 Store but I can’t find the lot in-game. Cause Store lots can usually be found in the community lot library. If you’ve bought the lot with the Gold Edition of a world, they are not pre-placed. You need to do that yourself. Those lots sometimes just have numbers instead of names and therefore are called 1, 2, 3, …. If you have reached the launcher cap, the lots sometimes are not installed correctly the first time. Imported house raises/lowers the terrain
Problem When I place a house on a lot it was not originally built on, I get either mountains they sit on or they sink into the ground. Cause This usually happens for lots that were build on a different lot than you are trying to place it. Solution This problem can be solved with a cheat. You will need to type in the cheat before you place the lot: SetImportedTerrainOffset (value) (value) Is a positive or negative number depending on whether the lot created a hole or a mountain. Sim sinks into the ground
Problem My Sim sinks into the ground and can’t climb stairs anymore. Sometimes he’s visible through the ceiling, blocking objects below. Cause This bug is caused by the cheat moveObjects on. Only use the cheat to remove stuck items (not Sims) or to place items in build mode. Moving a Sim with this cheat can have this effect even though the cheat is turned off again. Blue Lots
Problem I suddenly have blue (or black at night) lots instead of the actual buildings build there Solution This issue is caused by faulty custom content. You can read all about it here: Game Help:Sims 3 Blue Lots Issue If your town has the issue and you saved your game, the town cannot be saved. Try restoring a backup game.
