    Saves are gone/ Options are reset

    Problem When starting up my game, everything was gone. My saves, my donwloads, everything. Cause This problem mostly occurs if you accidentally move your user directory to a different place (with Windows, this can happen very easily). If the game does not find the expected user directory (or any of the folders it needs), it recreates a new folder but that will be empty so that all of your downloads/saves are missing.     Long Loading Times

    Problem It takes forever until my game is loaded Cause In most cases this is due to many or faulty .package files. If you have tons of them, they can slow down your game and the loading times. Also make sure that there isn’t a Sims 2 package file amongst your Sims 3 files. Sometimes it’s hard to tell what game they are for.     Problem While saving I get the error message: An unexpected error has occurred while saving: Error 12 (or 13 or 15 or 16). Please consult the readme for details. Meaning of the Errors Error 12: World file save failure. Probably Memory related Error 13: Post-save callback failure. Unclear what that means. They fixed an error that was causing this and it seems to not occur as often. Error 15: Open failure. You probably don’t have enough rights to write in the folder. Error 16: Loose file copy failure.
