Objects disappear from Inventory
Problem Things disappear from my Inventory when I change the active household I’m missing stuff (have extra stuff) when I come back from University/Traveling/the Future Cause This is not a bug but EA wanted this to be this way. There’s a daily routing that cleans out the inventory and all inactive fridges. Since the travel system is very unstable, it can happen that stuff disappears (or appears) from your inventory after traveling. Solution EA has changed the routine. This should not happen anymore. Plumbots loose their trait chips
Problem My plumbot lost all their trait chips Cause There’s multiple causes for this bug Splitting a household and putting the plumbot to the new family will make them have a last name which they did not have before. This makes them loose their trait chips. ServiceNPCs and homeless plumbots that are put in hibernation loose their trait chips. Reset on older Versions of MasterController, ErrorTrap and Overwatch delete the chips. Solution Make sure to use the newest versions of the mods Don’t invest on putting trait chips into ServiceNPCs and homeless Plumbots

Are there things I should keep in mind ? Save your game on a regular basis. Use different save game names so you can go back more than one save game. Meteors in normal future and Utopia
Problem The meteors from Dystopia are also happening in Utopia and the normal future Cause Unclear but it seems that the meteors from Dystopia aren’t reset properly and then affect the normal future and Utopia as well. This issue can also be caused by incompatible mods. Solutions Use the time portal to reset the future. This will reset all changes you have done to the future. Download Version asks for DVD
Problem When I want to start my game, Origin asks me for the disc. I have the download version and do not own a disc. I get the following error message: No disc detected. Please insert the original “Sims3EP11″ CD/DVD” Cause Unclear Solutions Patch your game to 1.63 again using the manual Super Patch. When asked if you want to install that version again, choose yes.

Time Almanac is no longer working
Problem I can’t click on my time almanac anymore. Nothing happens. Cause This error happens as soon as the current record holder of a Statue gets deleted from the game or when your Sim becomes the record holder There’s several reasons why a Sim is no longer present in town. Sim moved away Sim was deleted by a mod (especially homeless and service sims.) Missing Sims Dead Sims are only an issue if the tomb stone was removed as well. In Preparation for Into The Future
Into the Future is almost upon us, so time for me to make this post. I do recommend to backup all your stuff, most importantly the DCCache folder and the Saves folder. Most of the things stated here: What to do before patching do still apply. Installing the EP will reset all your Sims so for example not being in a vacation town or at Uni at the time, reduces the changes of game corruption. If you want to be on the safe side, also remove your mods/custom content. Start a new game after the installation. Get a feeling for what’s new. If…
