Sim not arriving at University
Problem My sim doesn’t arrive at the University. All I get is the option to edit town. My Sim is not there. The loading screen just stops at 99% Cause There are several causes for this just like the WA world not loading. They vary from corrupted family trees to corrupted NPC sims at the Uni world. One identified cause is that if you invite a Sim from Uni to graduation, they will duplicate in your relationship panel, corrupting your Sim. No performance meter
Problem My Sim does not have a performance meter while at University Cause It seems that you don’t have a performance bar before classes first start on Monday. Problem My Sim has no class schedule Cause Unclear at this point but probably caused by having a mod in when first starting the game after installing University How to prevent Remove all mods before you install University. Sim can’t spin on the Ice/Roller Skating Rink
Problem My Sim has perfect Ice/Roller skating skill and I got a message that he can now spin on the rink but he doesn’t have the option to do so. The option to spin with is there until a second Sim enters the rink, but it’s of course gray cause no-one is on the rink to spin with. Cause The issue mainly concerns Hidden Springs (and maybe Sunlit Tides) since the festival lot in those towns have a picnic area hidden underneath the ice/roller skating rink. Routing failure with bed, dresser, …
Problem My Sim can’t use the bed, dresser, desk, etc. They have a routing failure icon over their head and stomp their feet. Cause The greeting cards you get with Patch 1.42 cause routing failures when placed on objects. For beds: Beds have a tendency to become unusable when a Sim is reset while sleeping Solution Put the greeting inside a digital photo frame before or keep them in the inventory. Stylist is missing the clothing list
Problem My stylist would love to do his job and style some Sims but he can’t since the list for clothing is missing. Nothing happens when I click on the buttons. Cause This issue only occurs in non-english games. The game changes the UI to have room for the longer texts. Unfortunately the Back button got busted in the process which makes the list not appear anymore. Solution None, really. It does work in the English version.
