Sims 3 and Windows 10
I tried Sims 3 and Sims 2 UC on a technical pre-Version of Windows 10 and had no issues starting either. I didn’t play for very long though. Depending on your Graphics Card/Computer, it can be necessary to start the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode. As far as I know, there’s no official statement whether Sims 1-3 are supported on Windows 10 or not. More Details when Windows 10 becomes officially available.

The End of modding for Twallan
Breaking News Twallan has announced today on his State of the Mod that he will no longer be modding for Sims 3 and since he has announced a while ago that he won’t be modding for Sims 4, this means the end of mods from Twallan. This means that there will be no more Support from Twallan directly and no more updates to his mods. New Info Seems the patch is confirmed. In Preparation for Into The Future
Into the Future is almost upon us, so time for me to make this post. I do recommend to backup all your stuff, most importantly the DCCache folder and the Saves folder. Most of the things stated here: What to do before patching do still apply. Installing the EP will reset all your Sims so for example not being in a vacation town or at Uni at the time, reduces the changes of game corruption. If you want to be on the safe side, also remove your mods/custom content. Start a new game after the installation. Get a feeling for what’s new. If…

Goodies
Last week I was taking part in a giveaway EA is holding on the official forums and on twitter/facebook. Each day they give out some goodie bags. On friday we had to post a picture of our Sims relaxing. Even though I didn’t feel like turning on my computer at night, I didn’t wanna pass on a chance to win something and I was rewarded. There are a few sites that offer Beta Downloads for the Sims 4 or tell you to sign up for it. Those sites are not LEGIT and by downloading something you most probably get a virus. Do not use those sites. Next news we’ll be getting is the Gamescom in Germany. Maybe some of you wonder if I will continue with Sims 4 and if there will be a Help Blog for Sims 4.
