Problem I get the following error message: The program can’t start because QtCore4.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. Cause This file belongs to Origin and should be in the folder C:Programs(x86)Origin. Solution Reinstall Origin. You don’t need to reinstall the game, reinstalling Origin will do. Ingame advertisement crashes game
Problem It seems the new ingame advertisement (read all about it here: 1.29 Patch Triggers In-Game Advertising/Purchasing and here: Discontinued Sets + Freebies in Buy Mode & CAS!) now makes many games crash. Cause What happens is, that the game downloads many pictures to a new folder called featuredItems. Those pictures are probably used to be displayed ingame and I suspect one or more of those are corrupted. When those pictures are downloaded to the folder, the game crashes. Saves are gone/ Options are reset
Problem When starting up my game, everything was gone. My saves, my donwloads, everything. Cause This problem mostly occurs if you accidentally move your user directory to a different place (with Windows, this can happen very easily). If the game does not find the expected user directory (or any of the folders it needs), it recreates a new folder but that will be empty so that all of your downloads/saves are missing.
