Bypass the Launcher
Introduction
Be aware that this method only works if your game does not have a Origin requirement. The pre-patched version of the base game (The Sims 3 Refresh, The Sims 3 Starter Pack or any of the Plus Version) require you to start Origin with your game (offline possible) and they have no known option to bypass the launcher.
Sometimes the launcher doesn’t work right or there are other reasons why you don’t want to use it. Luckily it’s possible to start the game directly.
To bypass the launcher double click on the following files and/or create a short-cut to it on your desktop:
