CaST does not load – Materializing Materials
Problem When i want to open CaST, it will never open and I get an endless message Materializing Materials Cause This problem is caused by faulty patterns. Patterns that were created with CAP should not be converted into Package-Files since they can only be numbered correctly if they are installed through the launcher. You should also not merge such patterns together The patterns are not faulty as such. If you install them through the launcher, they’ll work as intended. Arezzo Bathroom CounterRight
Introduction The Arezzo Bathroom CounterRight has the disadvantage to stuck to every Sim/Household/House you upload and has inflicted the Exchange and many fansites by now. The creator of the counter has removed the it from her section and has made a new version that has no issues and can be used: Arezzo Bathroom CounterLeft. I don’t know of any other issues with the counter other than uploading with everything. If anyone has different experiences, let me know. Downloaded Sims and Houses can’t be installed
Problem I’ve downloaded a Sim/House/Household from the exchange but I can’t find it in CAS or in the library Cause There are many Sims out there that cannot be installed through the launcher. They will show as installed but next time you open the launcher, they are uninstalled again. I don’t know why some Sims show this behavior but it’s possible that CC has something to do with it. When a Sim/House/Household is installed through the launcher, a file will be saved to the SavedSims folder (or the library folder in your user data directory. For some reason, this will not…

Installed Downloads don’t appear ingame
Problem The Downloads I installed can’t be found anywhere in my game Solution This can have several reasons Sims3pack Files Follow instructions here: Install Sims3Packs Make sure you did not just download but also install them. Make sure the files have not uninstalled themselves again. If a creator has used package files in their creation, you won’t get those automatically. Because of this, the Sim or house you’ve downloaded from the Exchange can look different in your game. Sims shower in cloths
Problem When my sim takes a shower or a bath, they are wearing cloth Cause If the Sims has a certain trait like never nude, they shower with their bathing suit on. A Custom Content creator has categorized the clothing for Naked. Because of this, it can happen that they wear that piece of clothing while showering/bathing The filter for the clothing was deactivated by either using the Cheat Unlock outfits or MasterController. Mods to the rescue – SN Annoyances begone
Problem All serviceNPC – Maid, Butler, Bonehilda – are obsessed with cleaning the beehive. They don’t do anything else Bonehilda is obsessed with toddlers and pets. The consign skill tab is missing it’s icon Zombies are dumb. Zombies weren’t as dumb if the wouldn’t destroy ma garden. I love Zombies but the ones in the game – they don’t really do anything. CC Objects issues with Patch 1.26/1.27
It seems that the Pets patch has borked most of the cc objects. This does not include hair or clothing and most deco items will be fine as well but all objects that have slots (for other objects or Sims) are most likely not usable anymore (some of the older stuff still seems to be). How do I uninstall a Mod/Hack ?
Introduction Some mods can’t simply be ripped out or you will destroy your savegame. Since the introduction of premium items, EA has fixed an error with injection though so there aren’t as many mods that use special instructions any more. I don’t know anything about Awesome mod so if you’re using that, make sure to read all instructions available. How to find a certain download in your Launcher
Problem When you download houses or Sims from the Exchange and other sites, a lot of stuff is coming with those. The bigger the file, the more extra CC is included with the download. Those can be faulty or you just don’t like them and just want to get rid of them. Most of them will be in your launcher and you will need to uninstall them. Problem There are a lot of downloads around that are categorized for ages teens and up. We all know that teen sims are slightly smaller then the other age groups.
