The End of modding for Twallan
Breaking News Twallan has announced today on his State of the Mod that he will no longer be modding for Sims 3 and since he has announced a while ago that he won’t be modding for Sims 4, this means the end of mods from Twallan. This means that there will be no more Support from Twallan directly and no more updates to his mods. New Info Seems the patch is confirmed. Meteors in normal future and Utopia
Problem The meteors from Dystopia are also happening in Utopia and the normal future Cause Unclear but it seems that the meteors from Dystopia aren’t reset properly and then affect the normal future and Utopia as well. This issue can also be caused by incompatible mods. Solutions Use the time portal to reset the future. This will reset all changes you have done to the future. Problem After choosing a family, the tick just stays gray and I can’t start my game After choosing a dorm for my Sim, the tick stays gray and I can’t start my game. Cause If you play logged in, something seems to block the process from continuing with the game Solution Don’t log into your game before starting the game (or log out in your game options), choose a family and play for a few minutes. Sims in Slow Motion
Problem My sims move in slow motion and the clock stops from time to time only to skip forward in time later. Cause An alarm that is firing over and over causes the whole game to come to a halt and prevents it from running smoothly. Identified Sources for those are: Tree of Prosperity: It does not matter if you actually use the tree in your savegame. It fires a faulty alarm over and over. Interactive Loading Screen
Introduction This feature was introduced with patch 1.63. The interactive loading screen gives you the possibilty to play a little game while you wait for your game to load. Your active family get lifetime reward points this way which will then be equally split among all members. Turning off You can turn the interactive loading screen off in your options. Next time you load your game, the screen will be back to normal. Issues Unfortunatley this can lead to longer loading times and some people have even reported it to be responsible for lags ingame. Download Version asks for DVD
Problem When I want to start my game, Origin asks me for the disc. I have the download version and do not own a disc. I get the following error message: No disc detected. Please insert the original “Sims3EP11″ CD/DVD” Cause Unclear Solutions Patch your game to 1.63 again using the manual Super Patch. When asked if you want to install that version again, choose yes.

Time Almanac is no longer working
Problem I can’t click on my time almanac anymore. Nothing happens. Cause This error happens as soon as the current record holder of a Statue gets deleted from the game or when your Sim becomes the record holder There’s several reasons why a Sim is no longer present in town. Sim moved away Sim was deleted by a mod (especially homeless and service sims.) Missing Sims Dead Sims are only an issue if the tomb stone was removed as well.
